PSA: The founder of the LA-based fitness phenomenon ‘Hot Pilates’ has teamed up with wellness collective Poosh to bring us a busty workout we never knew we needed.
The ‘perky titty’ workout, created by Los Angeles-based trainer Shannon Nadj, was recently shared on everyone’s favourite wellness website, Poosh. Known for their wacky and alternative wellness tips and tricks, this workout is a perfect example of Poosh’s regular content.
In just six minutes, Nadj guides the viewer through the Kourtney Kardashian-approved burn, explaining the purpose of each movement, as well as tips to maintain correct technique throughout.
But can repeating this workout (many, many times) actually lead to a growth spurt of one’s bust? While it may seem like a long shot, there might actually be some method to Nadj’s madness.

Does the ‘perky titty’ workout work?
Short of getting pregnant, investing in a good push-up bra, or paying a visit to a surgeon, there’s not much you can do in the way of changing the bust size of which you were dealt.
In fact, as hard as it is to grow your girls, it’s equally as challenging trying to preserve their perkiness and shape against the lethal cocktail of gravity and time.
Unless you skipped your year eight health classes, you’re probably aware that your breasts are made up of mostly fat and tissue, meaning they simply cannot be ‘toned’ in the way muscles can. They are, however, surrounded by various groups of muscles that will indeed respond to a bit of strengthening.
The objective behind the ‘perky titty’ workout, is to build and strengthen these muscles surrounding (and underneath) your breasts, creating a lifting effect for the girls.
“Unfortunately, you can’t push yourself up to bigger, perkier boobs. However, you can strengthen your pectoral muscles right behind and around this area,” explains Nadj, before diving right into the series of exercises.
While Nadj herself wears weighted bangles for a touch of extra spice, she explains you could also use small hand weights throughout the exercises, ‘Everything, of course, can be done with no equipment,” she adds.
The power of posture and recovery
Furthermore, aside from strengthening the muscles around your bust using the exercises and technique in this workout, Nadj’s movement flow is a reminder to viewers not to sleep on the importance of good posture in accentuating the appearance of one’s chest.
Maintaining a strong connection between your shoulders, spine and core is not only a game-changer throughout this workout but also for your general alignment and well-being.
Lastly, the trainer ends the series with some simple, yet effective stretches, highlighting the importance of stretching and recovery in assisting the muscles in transforming.
